I was converted to the joys of rosewater from the moment I tasted my first rose lassi at my local Indian restaurant. Think a chilled, creamy yoghurt drink flavoured with rosewater cajun chicken emeril lagasse rose petals. Yes, rose petals! There's something about chewing those soft little petals that just topped the drink off perfectly. You can keep your mango lassi anyday!
It makes a good camping companion as it can be made use of in the course of fire bans, and is safe and sound adequate for little ones to use, with a very little caution. We've utilised ours to cook for a camping social gathering of 10 individuals, with a menu of banana and cinnamon porridge for breakfast, cheesy pizza's for lunch and then place a cajun whole chicken and veggies on all around 1pm for a sunset feast. I used about 2 lbs of chicken (bone-in simply because that is all I had) with an onion and a bit of red pepper, plus some chicken broth and spices. Cooked perfectly in 15 minutes. I just had to remove it from the bone and shred it and it was set to be served. I adhered to a slow cooker hole chicken that stated to cook it on low for eight hours, but I utilized the pressure cooker function for 15 minutes and it was juicy and yummy. I can't recommend this item enough. Use up your fruit and vegetables. If your fruit is starting to go a bit soft, make a smoothie or a compote, or maybe put it in a pie or crumble. If your vegetables are past their best, make a soup, minestrone or even roast them in the oven with some herbs and garlic. Price - Chili's slow cooker whole chicken with potatoes Pasta used to be a little under $10 on the restaurant menu. It now costs $11.29 which is slightly higher than many other menu options. This meal is still affordable compared to high end restaurants and eateries located in shopping districts. I once ordered a Chili's Cajun Chicken Pasta meal and two drinks without spending over $20. That may be the cost of four value meals at many fast food restaurants. However, the quality of Chili's Cajun Chicken Pasta justifies the price. I added 3 times as much water to the beans just to be safe, (poured off the extra when done and measured it, could have only used twice as much rather than three times as much and it would have been the correct quantity). From dry beans to properly cooked in approximately 30 minutes. My next attempt was a pork sirloin and it was great also, about as tender as you can most likely get a pork sirloin. My third attempt was some chicken fajitas. There are hundreds of food blogs featuring slow cooker recipes. If you have an old crockpot you can use it to make some of the newest and most exciting crockpot recipes. If not, why not invest in a slow cooker or even a "smart pot", so you can make some easy slow cooker recipes to impress your family? As usual, the husband orders Mt. Dew while the stepdaughter and I both order milk. Several varieties of wine are available at very affordable prices, and a few mixed drinks are available as well. Although the "Oatmeal Cookie" sounds intriguing, I decide to pass on the alcohol. I am honestly a bit worried that the bill already may come back as more than we could afford, after having judged the quality of this restaurant. Speaking of chile ... Peublo Solis. Pueblo Solis has some seriously good traditional Mexican foods, from chile rellenos (one of my favorites) to tamales to shrimp diablo. Chips are handmade and the salsas are delicious. If you love Mexican food, this restaurant is a must-visit for your next St. Louis date.
