Celebrating Mardi Gras at home, in New Orleans or at a party; no Mardi Gras celebration would be complete without the rich flavors of Louisiana and these recipes are no different. Choose from an easy slow cooker recipe for Red Beans and rice to a deliciously decadent Carnival Crab Meat Dip. Each of these recipes features some of the most well know foods of Louisiana from Crab and Shrimp, Beans and Rice and even the French make an appearance in a Mimosa recipe. Each one of them is straight from the some of my favorite Louisianans' kitchen.
You'll find information about all their other products, all made from a total of 18 different bean's and pea's they package. Chicken, Beef, even Chili, what ever flavor of soup your yearning for, Hurst makes them all. They also package beans separately, if your wanting to make some home make baked beans, you can buy just plain Northern Beans by the pound. There is no better baked beans then those that take two days to make in your own slow cooker moroccan lamb slow cooker. The high setting is about 300 degrres while the low setting is about 300 degrees. Take note that these two temps are well above the minimum safe temperature of 140 degrees. That brings me to last night, as I was going through my mother's recipe cards. Apparently she once had a friend named Mrs. Jon Stufflebeem a slow cooked moroccan lamb woman I can't remember meeting. I would think that Mother knew her from work. But hey, Mrs. Stufflebeem knew how to make a good Ratatouille. It was so good that Mother asked her for the recipe, and got it. Yesterday, I chose a recipe for Huachinango a la Veracruzana. Sounds exotic? Well, it's just Red Snapper in Tomato Sauce with a few ingredients for extra flavor. Instead the Snapper I bought a different fish at the market, a green pepper, and tomato puree. The rest of the ingredients like garlic chile powder and a pinch of cinnamon slow cooker moroccan lamb were already on hand. I found I enjoyed the process of preparing this main dish almost as much as eating it. He rather arrogantly pressed Grinshpan into service as he prepared a perfectly revolting sweet-potato dish that would end up with raw apples in the middle of two layers of them. I mean, if you want to include apples in a sweet-potato casserole, you put the thing together and then bake it long enough to cook everything. But Garvin cooked the sweet potatoes separately, moroccan lamb hairy bikers then sliced them into layers, sandwiching raw apples in the center. I don't know who he fooled into accepting this as a delicious Southern dish favored by his family, because I'd be willing to bet that his grandmother or whoever cooked those apples one way or another. It looked as awful as apple pie with dried or raw apples. I was so put off by this opening scenario that I changed the channel. So there you have it, use the party checklist for a St Patrick's Day party that is incredibly easy to create. It is achievable with a low budget, plus your friends will be raving about until the next years St Patrick's Day party!
