Fort Worth's best late night eats- It is a well known fact that spending a full evening in your favorite watering hole takes a lot out of you. So where do you go to replenish yourself with the requisite ratio of carbs and grease to mitigate the next day hangover? Fort Worth has some great late night spots that aren't of the big chain restaurant variety, so copy and paste this list into your mobile phone and rest assured that you have the low down on Funkytown's top late night eats. If you don't know where you're going, this bar can be a bit difficult to find, but it is well worth it. Opened 4:30 pm till, swing by for a cocktail and some live music or have a pint while watching a Saints game. There are live music performances pretty much nightly, featuring local jazz, blues and up pulled pork dishes coming musicians. As an added bonus, if you're a fan of scotch, they carry a pretty wide selection.Whatever you're in the mood for, it's a great spot to kick back if you're looking to avoid the pretentious. You will enjoy munching on this amazing bbq bbq pulled pork dip that you can have for snacks. Simply have it as filling for any bread, top it with a slice of cheese and some lettuce. You can also have the dish for lunch or dinner. You will delight in the taste of pork served with hot steamed brown or white rice. She or any of the thousands of other mothers around her, all crammed side-by-side between metal bars, might have borne so many litters of piglets before you that her uterus might ooze out through her vulva, causing her to die slowly, and painfully. Blanc Burgers and Bottles is a newer restaurant in the Westport area of South Kansas City. Opened in 2008, this burger joint is dressed up a bit and offers a unique burger menu. A little on the small side, you may have to wait for a table, however, the au poivre burger makes up for that wait. Blanc Burgers and Bottles is open for lunch or dinner, accepts major credit cards and does not take reservations. The menu features several different types of burgers including a vegetarian burger slow cooker bbq pulled pork and a bison burger. Local owners Jennifer Price and Ernesto Peralta welcome you! On a positive note, the corn was delicious. Then again, its impossible to mess up cooking this vegetable. I did like the Macaroni and Cheese, and you get a generous heaping of it with the platter. Also the cornbread was off the hook delicious, so there's at least once authentic item on the menu. Avoid the fried okra, as its messy, soft, and seems to have been broiled in such a way that it just falls apart on your fork. The same can be said for the collard greens, which were actually served cold. That is completely unacceptable, and for that reason alone, I will never eat here again. If you really want to go here, get something besides their weak tasting pork, such as a hamburger or chicken sandwich. As far as desert goes, if you possibly have room after such a stuff-fest, think pie a la mode, preferably apple with vanilla ice cream. But sweet potato or pecan pies are bbq pulled pork delicious as is a good old peach cobbler. Village Peddler Festival This family-friendly 2-day event will feature 175 artisans and craftspeople displaying their handmade Traditional, Primitive, Country, Americana and Victorian-style arts & crafts along the shaded paths of the outdoor marketplace. The Crab Shack seafood restaurant is open Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. The Crab Shack has been one of the best seafood restaurants on Tybee Island and near Savannah since 1989.
